I have worked at the same great company since graduating from college. I am currently in the Marketing Department after starting out in production graphics. Before graduating, I had two graphic design internships.
Showdown Displays
Since May of 2023, I have worked in the Marketing Department at Showdown Displays. My primary responsibility is to create, organize, and upload imagery for our website. The imagery is also used in our print collateral, such as catalogs or flyers. My role heavily relies on Photoshop to create product mockups that realistic and like they exist in real spaces.
The World Food Prize
An internship all about ending world hunger.
I was honored to intern at the World Food Prize and learn all about the world of not for profits. Much of my design work was focused on social media design and print work for the annual symposium held in October.
A personal favorite project of mine was designing a logo and brand identity for the Global Youth Institute- which is still used to this day.
The City of Ankeny
I had a second internship at the City of Ankeny government office, working closely with the Director of Communications. Design projects there focused heavily on brand guidelines for social media and event posters. I also worked with several local businesses to design print material.
